Évora - Templars
Visit the well-preserved old town center, still partial enclosed by medieval walls, and a large number of monuments dating from various historical periods, including a Roman Temple.
Évora is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also member of the Most Ancient European Towns Network.
You will meet a deep Portugal, with magnificent landscapes full of vineyards, grain fields, olive trees and cork trees from where is extracted the well known Portuguese Cork.
We’ll visit the city of Évora and it’s Roman Temple, the famous Chapel of Bones, the largest Gothic cathedral in Portugal, as well as the Palace where Vasco da Gama was ordered to discover the sea route to India.
