SINTRA

Then explore Sintra historic centre for lunch, taste the famous Sintra pastries ´Travesseiros´ and visit the National Palace of Sintra. At 5 km west of Sintra admire Quinta da Regaleira (2h), classified as World Heritage by UNESCO this romantic architectural complex includes a Palace, a Chapel, and gardens with unique grottos. AVEIRO

Enjoy visits Aveiro, known as the Little Venice of Portugal 250 km north of Lisbon and afford a rewarding 11 hours Private Tour experience. Aveiro is a thousand years old, of which two hundred and fifty as a city. Aveiro is crossed by canals and along these waterways colourful and traditional fishing boats sail. Take an idyllic cruise on the Moliceiro River, you’ll admire art-nouveau architecture and visit Costa Nova’s beaches, famed for their exotic bird species. Then visit Aveiro Cathedral, located in an old Dominican convent and Costa Nova beach, located on the west coast, 11 km from the Aveiro historic centre. Enjoy the excellent regional cooking and desert “sweet eggs”. After, proceed to Costa Nova and capture photographs of the lighthouse and the colourful houses that line the beachfront before returning to Lisbon.

AGUEDA

Hundreds of Umbrellas Float Above The Águeda Streets in Portugal (near Aveiro). From July until September every year as part of Ágitagueda art festival, hundreds of umbrellas are hung over promenades in the streets of Águeda. Visit Pateira is one of the largest Lagoons in the Iberian Peninsula, the former natural reserve of the municipality of Águeda, is an important wetland of national and international interest, which is classified as Zona RAMSAR, NATURA 2000 (Special Protection Zone and Site of Community Importance of the Ria de Aveiro). In this lagoon, there are habitats, ecosystems and species with national and international protection status. We will stop for lunch in a Tradicional Portuguese Restaurant in Agueda (included in the price) where you must try the famous Leitão à Bairrada (wood oven roasted piglet), original from this area, with wine and/or sparkling wine tasting. Pateira viewpoint is one of the greatest highlights of Fermentelos that opened in 1961.

TOMAR
Enjoy visits Tomar “The Templar’s city”, affords a rewarding 8 hours Private Tour experience.
